Gordo mug with its wide bottom and narrow top will keep your morning coffee warm for a very long time and is as beautiful for a formal dinner as it is for everyday use. The Gordo mug is also available in a gold glaze with hints of brown. Each piece is hand glazed, so colors and patterns will vary slightly. All pottery from Campbell studios is lead free as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

Bill Campbell began making pottery in the early 1970s. In 1974, Bill Campbell received a Bachelor in Fine Arts with an Art Major from Pennsylvania’s Edinboro University at the age of 36. He hoped to build his own pottery studio and become a professional potter whose creations possessed unmatched beauty, quality and functionality. Bill Campbell, despite the limitations of the glaze he uses, has perfected its use, capturing its full potential. That passion and knowledge is present in the mugs, chalices and tea pots he creates. Each piece of drink ware that leaves his studio maintains the same amount of energy as its creator.
