Bill Campbell’s Flambeaux cookie plate is just as beautiful as it is functional. This crystalline glaze is never exactly the same, but it is always striking. This 12 1/2 inch by 9 ½ inch rectangular platter is useful for more than cookies and works beautifully with all Flambeaux dinnerware sets. It is available in a cream with blue and green accents or gold with brown and indigo blue accents. Each one is an individual work of art and will vary. Like all pottery made by Bill Campbell Studios, it is microwavable, dish washer safe and lead free.
Bill Campbell’s handmade pottery has been admired for over 30 years. His serving platters, serving trays and other dinnerware sets are highly regarded for their breathtaking color and swirl and glaze patterns. Bill Campbell specializes in cookie plates, ceramic dishes and other home goods.
Bill Campbell began making pottery in the early 1970s. In 1974, Bill Campbell received a Bachelors in Fine Arts with an Art Major from Pennsylvania’s Edinboro University at the age of 36. He hoped to build his own pottery studio and become a professional potter whose creations possessed unmatched beauty, quality and functionality. Bill Campbell, despite the limitations of the glaze he uses, perfected its use, capturing its full potential. That passion and knowledge is present in the cookie plates, platters and dinnerware sets he creates. Each piece of dinnerware that leaves his studio maintains the same amount of energy as its creator.
